Metal Detectors detect metal objects such as weapons, crows, knives. They do not detect coins, keys and cell phones, depending on the sensitivity to be set. They are usually storeys, allowing each person to pass between two columns and have control. However, there are also portable metal detectors.

X-Ray Detectors detect and display x-ray contents of luggage, parcels, envelopes. Through advanced technology as well as specific training of users, they detect explosives or even drugs.

Cell Phone Detectors Detect Cell Phones When Passing People In Areas Prohibited Such As Prisons. Their detection is either power on or off.
